Langesund is known for its rich cultural life, and we have proud festival traditions that put the city on the map. Most people know Wrightegaarden and its legendary

concerts, but we have much more to offer!

Every summer, the town blossoms with festivals that create life, joy and community. On the first weekend in June, thousands of people gather for the atmospheric Shanty Festival, where sailor songs and folk music fill the coastal town with a true maritime soul.

But the music festival doesn't stop there! Langesund is also home to Skjærgårdsgospel, Oktoberfestivalen and Kystkulturuka, which together provide a unique mix of music, history and party atmosphere.
